  • Place a Broslow Tape on the bed and pull the pediatric arrest cart into the room
  • 15 compressions to 2 ventilations
  • Evaluate reversible causes (H’s and T’s) of the arrest. Particularly respiratory failure (hypoxia) and/or hypovolemia
  • Administer epinephrine 0.01mg/kg IO followed by a saline flush
  • The key to reversal is to discover the underlying cause and treat it.
