Correct answers
- Put your cell phone on speaker and place it next to the patient.
- Look at the patient’s chest for rise and fall.
- Begin compressions — pushing hard and fast.
- Continue compressions until the AED tells you to 'not touch the patient for analysis'
- They are safe for use when instructions are followed, and will direct rescuers not to touch the patient when shocking, to ensure that only the victim/patient will be shocked if indicated.
